Beaphar Calming Collar for cats is a drug-free, stress-relief accessory designed to reduce anxiety and unwanted behaviours in felines. It is suitable for all breeds of cats and kittens from 12 weeks of age

Key Features and Benefits
  • Natural Active Ingredients: It contains a blend of valerian and lavender, which are gradually released to soothe nerves and leave cats feeling relaxed without sedation.
  • Fast-Acting Formula: The collar begins releasing its calming properties immediately upon opening, taking noticeable effect within 1 hour of fitting
  • Long-Lasting Relief: A single collar provides continuous, slow-release calming support for up to 6 weeks
  • Safety Mechanism: It features a quick-release safety design that allows a trapped cat to easily free its head if the collar gets caught on a branch or furniture.
  • Resilient to Moisture: The collar’s formula is unaffected by liquid spills, meaning it remains effective once dried if your cat gets caught in the rain.
Common Uses & Targeted Behaviours

  • Behaviour Issues: Mitigates excessive meowing, territorial urine spraying, vertical furniture scratching, and boisterous aggression.
  • Environmental Changes: Eases distress during house moves, cattery or boarding stays, and the introduction of new babies or pets.
  • Loud Noises: Calms anxiety triggered by UK seasonal events like Bonfire Night fireworks, thunderstorms, and party season disruptions.
  • Travel & Separation: Reassures cats who suffer from separation anxiety or become frantic during car journeys and vet visits.
Application Instructions
  1. Fit Correctly: Fasten the 35cm adjustable strap comfortably around the neck.
  2. Check the Gap: Leave enough room to slide two fingers between the collar and your cat’s skin.
  3. Trim Excess: Cut off any overlapping material protruding beyond the buckle and discard it in your household rubbish.
  4. Isolate Contact: Ensure it sits directly against the skin and does not overlap a standard flea or ID collar, as this can reduce its effectiveness.
  5. Manage Water: Remove the collar before giving your cat a full bath or shampooing, and reapply only once their coat is fully dry
