Shanklin Pet Stores has been serving the Isle of Wight since 1965, making us one of the oldest established pet shops on the island. We are incredibly proud of our long history and the community we have built over the decades
Our family-run business took over the shop in 1998, dedicated to providing top-of-the-range, fresh products at respectable prices. Today, the shop is proudly managed by second-generation owner, Aaron, who took the helm in 2015.
In 2017, we proudly launched our signature line: Ken Wight’s Grain Free Pet Food. Formulated with a minimum of 50% meat content in every bag, it delivers high-quality, premium nutrition at a low price. It is grain-free, hypoallergenic, and contains absolutely no added artificial colours, preservatives, or flavours—making it the ideal choice for the modern cat and dog!

A New Chapter: Slowing Down & New Hours ( Mon – Sat 10am to 2pm )
After 25 fantastic, busy years, we are ready to relax, slow down, and adjust our pace. While we are keeping our physical doors open, we have shifted our operations to match this new chapter:

- Limited Stock: We continue to stock our shelves, but with a more streamlined, limited inventory.
- Online Catalogue: Our website is no longer an online shop; it now serves as a digital catalogue of the items we stock in-store.
- No Home Deliveries: We have permanently ceased all home delivery services
