  • Material: Made from durable, non-toxic, clear plastic with highly visible measurement markings and a smooth plunger for controlled fluid delivery.
  • Compatibility: Designed primarily for Beaphar Lactol Milk Replacers but perfectly compatible with any brand of animal milk replacer.
Target Animals
These syringes are specially crafted for tiny mouths and fragile animals, including:
  • Puppies and kittens
  • Rabbits and guinea pigs
  • Hedgehogs, chipmunks, and wildlife kits
  • Sick, convalescing, or underweight pets requiring supplemental nutrition
Step-by-Step Usage Guide
  1. Sterilise: Thoroughly clean and sterilise the syringes before use, preferably using a cold-water sterilising solution.
  2. Prepare Milk: Mix your animal milk replacer according to the manufacturer’s instructions and let it cool until lukewarm (38°C or blood temperature).
  3. Restrain Gently: Wrap the young animal securely in a warm towel to keep its limbs still and absorb any accidental spillages.
  4. Primary Method (Blunt Tip): Fill the blunt tip syringe. Squeeze a tiny bead of liquid onto the tip and touch it to the animal’s tongue. This triggers their natural swallowing instinct. Do not squeeze hard to avoid forcing liquid into their lungs.
  5. Alternative Method (Tapered Tip): If the animal will not suckle, switch to the tapered syringe. Gently place the tip into the side of the animal’s mouth and release just a few drops at a time into the cheek, allowing them to swallow safely.
  6. Feeding Schedule: Repeat this process carefully every 2 to 3 hours until the animal grows strong enough to feed from a standard pet nursing bottle.
Important Safety Tips
  • Watch for Chewing: If the animal begins chewing on the nozzle rather than sucking, it means they are full, and you should withdraw the syringe.
  • Cleanliness: Always wash and rinse the plungers immediately after feeding to prevent milk residue from sticking and clogging the mechanism
