Johnson’s Wormer Size 1 is a single-dose over-the-counter veterinary treatment designed to eradicate roundworms, tapeworms, and hookworms in small breeds of dogs and puppies. 

• • Active Ingredient: Contains 100mg of Nitroscanate per film-coated tablet.
  • Legal Category: Classified as AVM-GSL (Authorized Veterinary Medicine – General Sales List) in the UK.
  • Target Animals: Small dogs and puppies over 12 weeks of age.
  • Weight Range: Specifically formulated for pets weighing between 2.1kg and 6kg (some retailer packs cover up to 8kg). 

• • 2.1kg – 4kg: 2 tablets
  • 4.1kg – 6kg: 3 tablets
  • 6.1kg – 8kg: 4 tablets 

• Food Requirement: Give the whole tablets first thing in the morning with one-fifth of your dog’s daily food ration.
• Do Not Modify: Tablets are film-coated and must not be crushed, split, or broken.
• Reduce Vomiting Risk: Withhold the remaining four-fifths of the food ration for eight hours after dosing to prevent sickness.
• Contraindications: Do not use on cats or puppies under 12 weeks of age. Do not use on any dog weighing under 2.1kg.
• Frequency: Adult dogs should typically be treated every 3 to 4 months for regular protection
