Pet Remedy Heated Pad is an electrically heated pad designed to maintain optimum body temperature for all mammals. Originally developed to minimize post-operative hypothermia for veterinary use, it is widely used in homes, pet beds, whelping boxes, and carry baskets. 

• Temperature Control: Gently brings body mass temperature up to roughly 39°C and maintains a ambient surface temperature between 30–35°C. 
• Safety First: Approved and recommended by the British Small Animal Veterinary Association (BSAVA). It utilizes a low-voltage (12V AC) system with two integral internal thermostats and a built-in LED safety light. 
• Power Efficiency: Operates at just 15 watts, making it incredibly cheap to run (approximately 1p per hour) and completely safe to leave on continuously. 
• Chew-Resistant Cable: Features a generous 2.7-metre cable equipped with a protective chew-resistant sheath. The adaptor can be disconnected to easily thread the wire through cages or basket mesh.  
• Dimensions & Care: Measures 42cm x 38cm (16.5″ x 15″). It is made of a wipe-clean material for quick hygiene maintenance but is strictly for indoor use and must never be immersed in water.  

• Always cover the pad with a thin blanket, fleece, or towel for your pet’s comfort.
• The weight of your pet’s body is what actively transfers and traps the heat.
• If using the pad for immobilized, sedated, or very young animals, check them regularly to ensure they do not overheat.
• Store the pad by loosely rolling it; do not fold it sharp, as this can damage the internal heating elements.
