Chinchilla Dust ( 2.5kg ) is a highly absorbent, ultra-fine mineral powder designed to clean a chinchilla’s incredibly dense coat through waterless bathing. Because chinchillas have up to 80 hairs per follicle, traditional water baths trap moisture, causing severe skin fungal infections. This specialized dusting powder mimics natural volcanic ash, effortlessly absorbing excess oils, moisture, and debris from their fur.
