Dog Rocks Lawn Burn Prevention ( 200gm ) is a 100% natural, vet-endorsed product designed to stop dog urine from creating unsightly yellow or brown burn patches on your grass, shrubs, and hedges. Mined from a specific area in Australia, these are naturally occurring paramagnetic igneous rocks that you place directly into your dog’s drinking water bowl. They offer a safe, hassle-free way to maintain a lush, green lawn without medicating your pet or altering the pH balance of their urine.
How They Work
- Ion Exchange: The rocks function like a magnetic sponge in water, creating an ion exchange.
- Filter Impurities: They absorb and filter out nitrates, ammonia, and trace elements naturally found in tap water.
- Lower Nitrates: By removing these elements from the water, your dog consumes fewer nitrates.
- Safe for the Lawn: Fewer nitrates entering the dog’s body means less concentrated nitrate is expelled in their pee, turning the urine from a grass-scorcher into a mild fertilizer.
- No pH Alterations: Unlike dietary supplements, they do not change the pH of your dog’s urine or water, meaning there are no side effects or risks of urinary tract issues.
Product Benefits
- All-Natural Composition: Consists entirely of straight-from-the-earth mineral stones with zero chemicals.
- Multi-Pet Safe: Completely safe for all breeds of dogs, cats, and other household pets sharing the water bowl.
- Healthier Water: Gives your pet a cleaner, purified, and fresh source of drinking water.
- Lawn Recovery: Noticeable improvements to your lawn are typically seen within 3 to 5 weeks.
Instructions for Best Results
- Wash Thoroughly: Rinse the rocks well under running tap water before use to clear away any natural rock dust.
- Add to Water: Place the entire pack into your dog’s main water bowl, using a ratio of 100g of rocks per 1 litre of water (up to 2 litres maximum per 200g pack).
- Wait to Activate: Let the stones submerge for at least 8 to 10 hours before your dog drinks to ensure maximum effectiveness.
- Exclusive Drinking: Your dog must only drink from the treated water source. Discourage them from drinking from puddles, streams, or untreated garden bowls when out and about.
- Alternative Pitcher Use: If your dog thinks the rocks are a toy, you can submerge the rocks in a separate water jug or pitcher for 10 hours instead, then use that jug to top up the dog bowl.
- Replace Every 2 Months: The rocks will become completely saturated and lose efficiency after 2 months. Swap them out for a fresh pack regularly. Old rocks can be safely disposed of in your garden as a soil enhancer or for pot drainage.
Note: Dog Rocks will prevent new urine burn marks from forming, but they cannot revive grass that is already dead. Existing dead patches will still need to be re-seeded or repaired.
