Hatchwells Pet Trimmex  is a fast-acting styptic powder designed to quickly stop minor bleeding in animals. It is most commonly used as a first-aid and grooming essential when a pet’s nail or claw “quick” is accidentally nicked during trimming.

1. Locate the origin of the bleeding on the nail or skin.
2. Dispense a small amount of the powder.
3. Apply directly to the open cut or nail quick using a clean, moist cotton bud or cotton wool.
4. Apply light pressure immediately; the bleeding should stop right away. 

• Grooming Hazard Note: Professional groomers note it is highly effective for fidgety pets, but it may cause a brief stinging sensation upon application.
